Voting, Tonight and Other Things

I voted today and it was so not the biggest deal of my life like I thought it would be. I went to the polling place and they were like, "Whats your name?" and I was like, "Blah, blah, blah." and they were like, "Do you want to vote electronically or on paper?" and I was like,"Dude! Hook me up with the electronic voting!!" and then two mins later I was done. I was like, "All that hype...all that build up...for this?!" But whatever, I'm over that.

My dad was totally a woman tonight. We were watching Everybody Loves Raymond, because my parents love that show, and he was like, "You never tell me anything about your day at school. You don't appreciate that I take an interest in your life. You blow me off and make me feel like I'm not important or that I'm an inconvenience." And I was like, "WTF? Where did this come from?!" So he was mad at me for like 3 hours and we weren't on speaking terms and then when I was going to bed we hugged and I was like, "You know I love you and I'll be talking to you tomorrow." And apparently we're all better now.

I must say I'm a little emo right now. I'm going to go mourn the materialistic and egotistical society we live in while being completely self-loathing.

I'm not really going to do any of those things, it just sounded cool to me. xD
