J-Fizzle, Non, Sparky and I went to San Francisco on Thursday to experience different cultures and see how religion has spread through the city. We went on a slightly guided tour through the city's different districts and ate some pretty awesome food and saw people all over the coolio spectrum. Castro Street is pretty much da bomb, 'cept for that one dude that had his junk on display via his black leather ass-less chaps. Woah is the only word for that sight. It was nasty ass but Sparky and I are ok now. Fully recovered and everything.
I got these fantastic shoes at a recycled clothing shop in SF for like $7! Craziness and they fit like a glove, they were totally meant to be. I also got an AMAZING necklace today in Chico. Its so cute.
I'm in love with a woman and that woman's name is Ingrid Michaelson. No, this love is not romantic in anyway, I just love her voice and lyrics. They're so sweet and girlie and I just love them. It fits my situation and is just awesome. I especially like "The Way I Am".
O.O There's another lady in my life right now. Sara Bareilles is what she goes by. "Love Song" is like the bombest song ever! Its true and the music video doesn't suck like some do. I actually really like it. I'm a sapp now, its true.
I wrote a poem whilst in San Francisco and I thouhgt I would share it with world. Here we go:
Dirty streets make it hard to see the beauty, but its here.
Contained in every street corner, cafe, mural and individual.
I give thanks for the sunshine and refreshing breeze provided for my contentment.
The city forces strangers to notice each other and even connect.
Total strangers help each other in their individual times of need.
The city is never whats expected, so full of hope and positivity.
A cultural melting pot is this faire city; so much so that I am slack-jawed in awe.
To imagine so many different people co-existing in such a small area is impossible.
But here they are; so many ethnicities, persuations.
So many.
So.
Many.
Well, there you go. I'm done. :D Bye.
